Final Update
Per emails and contact from Den Leaders, the final list of attendees are listed below and attached in excel.
PLEASE REVIEW all the information, and let me know of any corrections, right now I am going to reserve 34 slots for the USS Alabama Overnight per all the responses I have received to date. If I have missed anyone please let me know.
PLEASE NOTE, if you are NOT going to attend, please let me know tonight, since the Pack will have to pay for 34 regardless if you attend or not, so PLEASE let me know ASAP tonight. I do not want to spend pack dollars if a person will not attend since money is tight this year, and we do not want to waste our hard earned funds.
Note, if a parent is NOT attending and the scout is, I will need to know in advance who will be responsible for that scout. Note, No tigers are allowed at overnight without a parent, all other scouts, again, I need to know who will take responsibility. I will have final paperwork which needs to be filled out by each parent at the next pack meeting, December 18, 2008.
Betty Dewar, please update my spreadsheet on who has completed Youth Protection and return to me. If you have NOT completed Youth Protection and will be camping on the USS Alabama, please complete your youth protection and forward certification to Betty Dewar, our Training Coordinator.
As noted below and in the spreadsheet, per emails that have been going back and forth, I am assuming no one is camping at Fort Morgan, Saturday night January 17, 2009. If you are, please update me ASAP, so I can ensure we retain a slot at Fort Morgan for those who are not sleeping over on the USS Alabama. If I do not hear from anyone, I will assume no campers at Fort Morgan for Saturday night. Except for Hendersons, I am assuming all will camp on Sunday, at Fort Morgan, January 18, 2009. Again, if I am assuming incorrectly, please send me corrections ASAP.
More information will follow as we get closer to the trip date, but I will need each family to pay in advance, no later than December 18, 2008, next pack meeting. As noted above, I will also have paperwork for each person to fill out.
Thanks in advance for your assistance with this planning.
If you have any questions, please send me an email. I will out of town starting Wed, but will return Sunday December 7, 2008.
============================================= From: Douglas HollemanTo: leaders@cubpack115.com Date: Tue, Jan 6, 2009 at 10:10 PM Subject: Assistance with USS Alabama and Fort Morgan Confirmations Pack 115 Leaders- Please assist me in ensuring the information, I have to date reflects correctly for you and your dens for our upcoming USS Alabama and Fort Morgan overnights. Please check with your dens and respond back ASAP (By Wed or Thursday nights would be appreciated). I would like your assistance before sending back out to the entire pack. I have added a new column for the paperwork forms needed for the USS Alabama. I am missing a lot of the forms, and fees, unless Jane may have a lot of this info. I have also noted, after receiving emails, where scouts will be chaperoned by other leaders. IE Hugh Merryday will be with me, Seth Rapp with Combs, etc. If someone has the electronic version of the USS Alabama permission form, let me know so we can post to the web for easy access. I wanted to get all the forms and fees completed and paid in advance BEFORE the end of the week, so we have no issues for next week. I am thinking, if I have the forms and fees, then I can then plan accordingly on final plans for USS Alabama and Fort Morgan. IF someone needs forms, contact me, and I will try and make arrangements to meet you, I have lots of hard copy forms. Thanks, and please respond back by Wed or Thursday. We are currently 4 over our requested limit of 36, which I do not think will be a problem, but if there are cancellations, I need to know that ASAP. Also, if you have questions, please contact me via email or phone.
