Spring Activities 2012:

Blue and Gold Banquet:

Saturday, February 18, 5:30pm in Sander's Hall. $6.00 for meal; scouts and siblings under 6 years eat free. Cake contest with theme "Scouting". Awards for Most Original for theme, Best Looking, Best Tasting cake. Menu: fried chicken, salad, macaroni and cheese, vegetables, tea and lemonade. Cake for dessert. Please pay at February den meetings. Den members will advance rank but have until the end of the school year to complete current rank electives, beltloops, etc.

Scouting Sunday:

Sunday, February 19, 11:00am service with reception at noon. Saint Paul's celebrates 50 years of scouting! At the 11am service, past and present scouts are honored and Webelos dens receive the God and Family badges. Reception following service at noon.

2012 Tallahassee Super-Clean Sweep:

Saturday, February 25, 8:30am to 11:30am. 17th Annual Super-Clean Sweep is a local effort to support Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Clean Up™. Volunteers clean up the roads, parks, paths, schools and woodlands in our area. Volunteers can pick up litter, plant trees, shrubs, or flowers, paint over graffiti, or any other idea to make Tallahassee and Leon County a more pristine community! Let the Pack Leaders know if your Den wishes to participate.

Crossover Ceremony:

Tuesday, February 28. During the regular Pack meeting time, Webelos II members will "cross over" to boy scout rank. More details to come.

Camping:

Weekend of March 3-4. Details to come.

Completed Activities 2011-2012

Sept. 9-10, 6pm to 9am. Camping in Sander's Hall. Games, pizza, movie, fun. $6.00 per person.

Fall Activities 2011:

September 24, 8am to 4pm. Fishing at Federal Wildlife Federation River Preserve, SR 12 and Ochlockonee River Invite Map

Octobet 7-9. Camping at Torreya State Park. $50/family or $20/person. Tent camping. Meals provided: 3 Sat + 1 Sun. Sign up with Andrew Schindler. Bikes encouraged. No fishing at this location.

November 11. Veteran's Day Parade. The Pack will march with Troop 115 Scout parade formation. All scouts dress in Class A uniform. Meet at staging area #18a (Behind Girl Scouts and Capital City Pathfinders). Staging area is located on Call Street in front of the downtown library (not far from the StarMetro bus plaza). Enter Call Street from Bronough Street. Scouts should arrive no later than 9:40 am. The parade will end at the civic center. Parade route

Popcorn Sales. Thanks to all who sold and who help make our Pack go! The money goes towards award and rank purchases (lots), derby cars, food, activities, leader registration, and more!

December 15. Holiday Caroling and Party. Meet at 6pm in Sander's Hall to rehearse; 6:45pm load bus; 7pm carolling at Harbor Chase. 7:30pm return to Sander's Hall for potluck dinner party. Start learning the words to the Christmas carols.

Spring Activities 2012:

January 7, 10am to 1pm. Derby car building workshop at the Scout House.
January 14 -15. Big Trip weekend to Jacksonville: Dave & Busters followed by an overnight at the Jacksonville Museum of Science and History (The MOSH) - planetarium show, rooftopstar gazing, free time in the museum, movie, wildlife encounter, sleep anywhere in the musuem!). Family event, age 4 and up.
January 28. Scouting for Food: Distribute scout bags to homes. More details to come.

February 4. Scouting for Food: Pick-up scout bags. More details to come.

February 4. Pinewood Derby: Scouts must follow Council guidelines but parents can join the fun by building a car and entering the Pack 115 "Outlaw Race" (anything goes).
